Community Needs

One of our community members is looking for an affordable one-bedroom apartment, preferably in Harrisonburg.

Thank you to everyone who has donated items to help out the single mom in our community setting up a new apartment. They are now living in their new home! Below is a list of things that they could still use. If you have any of the following things in good condition that you would be willing to donate to the cause, please DM us or contact Alexis:

• Washer 

• Dryer

• Clothes - boys size 9/small and shoe size 2, women’s shirts (XL) and leggings (L)

• Size small Jacket for boy

• Rain boots size 2 (boys)

• Tall kitchen Trash can

• Outside chairs

• Clothes hangers 

• Children’s bike  

• 2 drawer (small) filing cabinet 

• knives

• Bookshelf 

• a tall skinny corner cabinet for the kitchen bath towels/hand towels 

• curtains and curtain rods 

• Holiday decor of any kind please! 

• Mop and bucket
